The weather in Monteverde is pleasant and cool so long pants, long sleeve shirt, good shoes or boots and a rain jacket are ideal.
Binoculars for birders, flashlight and a walking stick are nice to have.
Monteverde has a large, well stocked supermarket but batteries and film are cheaper elsewhere.
Due to the elevation and cool temperatures mosquitoes are not a problem but bring insect repellent if you plan on spending time on the beaches. Also, protect your skin, we are very near the equator so don’t forget sunscreen.

Pantalones largos, camisa de manga larga, buenos zapatos o zapatos de montaña y una chaqueta para lluvia son ideales para Monteverde.
Los binoculares, la linterna y unos palos para ayudar a caminar no tambien son necesarios.
El supermercado esta bien provisto, las ba-terías y rollos fotográficos son más baratos que en otros lugares. Y no olvide el protector solar. |
