There are two seasons in Monteverde, wet and wetter.
The best times to travel are November - May, but the weather becomes very predictable June – August. Sept. and Oct. are the wettest months.
At 1600 meters, the cooler and cloudier climate is a welcome change from the heat of the tropical lowlands.
